Terms of Service

ScoreTexts is a text message service operated by ScoreTexts LLC ("we"). By subscribing you agree to these terms.

The service

We send scores for the one team you choose, in the league you choose, on the schedule you choose, by SMS to the mobile number you give us. We send nothing else: no news, no promotions, no messages between games.

Scores come from a third-party data provider and may be delayed by a few minutes. They are provided for your information only. We do not guarantee that any score is accurate or on time, and the service must not be relied on for wagering or any decision where a wrong or late number would cost you something.

Price and billing

The price is $4.99/mo, billed in advance by card through Stripe, and renews automatically each month until you cancel. There is no contract and no minimum term. We do not refund partial months.

Cancelling

Text STOP to the ScoreTexts number at any time. Texts stop immediately and billing ends at the close of the paid period. You can also cancel from your settings link. Reply START to resume if your subscription is still paid up.

Text messaging terms

By subscribing you consent to receive automated text messages from ScoreTexts at the number you provide. Message frequency depends on your team's schedule and the plan you chose: a "final score only" plan is one text per game, a 15-minute plan is roughly one text every fifteen minutes of play. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or email help@scoretexts.com. Reply STOP to cancel. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number

Use only a mobile number you own. If the number changes hands, text STOP from it or tell us so we can end the service.

Changes and termination

We may change the price or these terms with notice by text or on this site before the next billing date. We may end the service at any time; if we do, you will not be billed again.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
